Role description
Business Intelligence Analyst Important Details β€’ Hybrid, 4 days a week onsite in Miramar, with occassional days in downtown Miami. β€’ 6-12 month Contract-to-hire About the Role We are seeking a BI Data Analyst with strong experience in business intelligence, data analytics, and dashboard development to help transform data into meaningful insights. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders to translate requirements into Power BI dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that support data-driven decision-making across the organization. This is an excellent opportunity for an analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of data, business, and technology, and who wants to continue building expertise in modern BI and analytics tools. Key Responsibilities β€’ Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and translate them into BI and analytics solutions β€’ Design, develop, and support Power BI dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics β€’ Create standard, automated, and ad-hoc reports to support operational and strategic decision-making β€’ Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and performance drivers β€’ Work with subject matter experts to identify opportunities where data analytics and BI can add value β€’ Support documentation, data definitions, and BI best practices β€’ Stay current on business intelligence, data visualization, and analytics trends Required Qualifications β€’ 2–4 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Reporting β€’ Hands-on experience with Power BI or similar BI / data visualization tools β€’ Strong SQL skills and understanding of data querying best practices β€’ Familiarity with data integration, ETL concepts, and analytics architectures β€’ Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders β€’ Strong communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Nice-to-Have Skills β€’ Experience with cloud data platforms or data warehouses β€’ Exposure to ETL tools, data pipelines, or data orchestration platforms β€’ Understanding of data modeling, star schemas, and BI performance optimization β€’ Experience supporting self-service analytics or training business users β€’ Familiarity with Agile, version control, or modern analytics workflows β€’ Interest in advanced analytics, AI-driven insights, or data storytelling Education β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field preferred β€’ Equivalent professional experience considered Why Join You’ll have the opportunity to work on impactful analytics initiatives, collaborate closely with the business, and continue growing your skills in BI, Power BI, SQL, and data analytics in a collaborative and evolving environment.
