Role description
Troy Consulting is an IT and management consultancy built to define strategies, streamline processes, and leverage data to help organizations achieve measurable success and reach their goals. We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst to design, build, and maintain KPI frameworks and performance reporting that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role partners closely with business and functional leaders to define meaningful metrics, ensure data accuracy, and translate performance insights into clear, actionable reporting. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical capabilities with business acumen and is comfortable working across stakeholders, data sources, and reporting platforms to drive operational and strategic outcomes. Key Responsibilities • Partner with business stakeholders to define, document, and standardize KPIs aligned with organizational objectives • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and recurring performance reports for operational, management, and executive audiences • Analyze KPI trends, variances, and key performance drivers; provide actionable insights and recommendations • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across reporting solutions and source systems • Automate reporting processes to improve scalability, efficiency, and reliability • Develop compelling data visualizations and business narratives tailored to technical and non-technical stakeholders • Establish reporting governance, metric definitions, and KPI documentation standards • Support ad hoc reporting, business analysis, and deep-dive investigations • Continuously evaluate and enhance KPI frameworks to align with evolving business priorities • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data quality and reporting effectiveness Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field • 8–10 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Analytics, Reporting, or Performance Management • Advanced experience with Power BI, including dashboard development and report optimization • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills • Working knowledge of SQL and data modeling concepts • Demonstrated experience translating business questions into measurable KPIs and performance metrics • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels • High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Preferred Qualifications • Experience supporting Operations, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Shared Services organizations • Familiarity with KPI governance, metric standardization, and reporting best practices • Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple enterprise systems • Understanding of reporting automation and self-service analytics • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving business environment What Success Looks Like • Business leaders trust and rely on KPI reporting for decision-making • Metrics are clearly defined, standardized, and aligned with business objectives • Reporting delivers timely, actionable insights that drive performance improvements • Manual reporting effort is reduced through automation and process improvements • Data quality and reporting consistency improve across the organization • KPI-driven insights contribute to measurable operational and financial outcomes Equal Employment Opportunity Statement Troy Consulting is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace.
