• • • This is a project based contract slated to last 2-3 months • • • About the Company: We are looking for a proactive and analytical Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to help drive smarter, faster decisions around inventory and operations. This role will focus on extracting and structuring data from Bombas and Excel-based systems, building dashboards and reports to increase visibility, and applying AI-powered analytics to forecast trends, detect anomalies, and automate routine reporting. You will be instrumental in establishing data-driven processes, building self-service tools, and leveraging AI to support inventory optimization and operational efficiency. About the Role: This role will focus on extracting and structuring data from Bombas and Excel-based systems, building dashboards and reports to increase visibility, and applying AI-powered analytics to forecast trends, detect anomalies, and automate routine reporting. Responsibilities: • Integrate and consolidate data from Bombas, Excel files, and other sources to create a unified inventory data model. • Build and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker to track KPIs like stock levels, turnover, aging inventory, and forecast accuracy. • Implement AI/ML-powered forecasting models to predict inventory needs, demand fluctuations, and potential stockouts or overstocks. • Use AI-based anomaly detection to flag unexpected variances in sales, inventory movement, or supply delays. • Apply natural language queries and AI tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT) to speed up analysis, automate reporting workflows, and answer ad hoc data questions. • Partner with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to define reporting requirements, KPIs, and performance thresholds. • Structure repeatable and automated reporting processes, reducing manual effort and ensuring data consistency. • Document logic, metrics, and workflows for long-term scalability and training. Qualifications: • 3+ years of experience in BI, data analysis, or supply chain reporting roles. • Proficient in Excel, with strong experience in formulas, macros, and pivot tables. • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI platforms. • Familiarity with Bombas (or other inventory/e-commerce systems) and data extraction techniques. • Exposure to AI/ML tools for business use (e.g., Azure ML, DataRobot, BigQuery ML, Copilot, or ChatGPT for analysis). • Strong understanding of inventory concepts like lead times, EOQ, safety stock, and forecasting. • Excellent data storytelling and stakeholder communication skills. Required Skills: • Experience using SQL or connecting to APIs for pulling data. • Experience building predictive models or time series forecasts using tools like Python, R, or cloud-based AI services. • Knowledge of inventory/supply chain - stock levels, turnover, demand planning, and operational metrics.
