Business Intelligence Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst/Business Intelligence Analyst Location: San Jose CA, Hybrid 2/3 days per week Duration: 6 Months with Possible Extension or Conversion. Job Description: What You'll Do: • Build and maintain dashboards to track product and user health. • Proactively identify usage trends and communicate relevant insights to assist product decision-making. • Partner closely with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Growth to drive actionable data requirements. • Automate and optimize data pipelines using SQL and/or Python-based ETL Frameworks. • Maintain technical standards and platform documentation (i.e., data dictionary, style guide, ERD). • Assist in growing the business' usage of Business Intelligence tools to drive efficiency in reporting. • Diagnose platform performance gaps and provide recommendations to improve scale. What You Need to Succeed: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 6-10 years of hands-on experience working with large scale data, developing innovative data solutions in a cloud environment. • Demonstrated experience incepting and driving projects independently. • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. • Extensive experience with BI platforms (i.e., Power BI, Tableau, Looker). • Experience with data warehousing, ETL/ELT processes, and data integration platforms (i.e., Airflow, MuleSoft, SnapLogic). • Ability to optimize and tune data pipelines for performance and scalability. • Knowledge of data modeling concepts and database design methodologies. • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Strong communication and presentation skills. • Experience with modern cloud platforms (i.e., Azure, AWS, GCP). • Experience with Databricks (on Azure or AWS) is a plus. • Experience with web analytics platforms (i.e., Client Analytics, Google Analytics) is a plus.
