Role description
BI Analyst Rolling Contract Position Jacksonville, Florida Brooksource is hiring a BI Analyst to provide comprehensive BI support to the North America (NA) Commercial teams. This role is responsible for working with multi-function personnel within the NA Commercial organization including Marketing, Sales, Finance and Supply Chain to manage our customer data, and within that space find areas of opportunity or issues and provide insights/data driven recommendations. It plays a key role in addressing questions from our client's sales team regarding discrepancies in the data, ensuring that the data pertaining to customers is accurately reflected in databases and reporting. This individual works closely with Data Engineers, BI and IT associates to advance data, reporting and analytic tools/capabilities ensuring timely analysis and maximum efficiency. Responsibilities • Develop, deploy, document, and maintain data assets and solutions to enable key capabilities such as performance monitoring and insight generation. • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to fulfill data requirements and ensure data quality and integrity. • Analyze and maintain master data related to customer segmentation while resolving discrepancies with stakeholders. • Support the sales inquiry case management process to enhance operational efficiency. • Develop and implement data validations for reporting to ensure conformity and consistency across platforms. • Help the BI team with solutions for ad hoc issues / requests that impact business decisions or outcomes Qualifications: • A bachelor’s degree is required. • A minimum of four (4) years of professional analytical experience is required. • Demonstrable experience using data and analytics to influence decisions is required. • Proficiency in SQL / Python • Solid grasp of data lifecycle management around data ingestion, data contextualization, data insights and analytics is required • Strong verbal, written and influence skills with the ability to express complex technical concepts in business terms • Advanced Proficiency in Excel and Tableau. • Minimum of two years cloud-based data warehousing experience (e.g. AWS Redshift and S3, Azure, Google Cloud) • Experience conducting formal and ad-hoc presentations to multi-functional partners is required.
