Business Intelligence Analyst

Responsibilities Kforce has a client in Redmond, WA that is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst that plays a strategic role in driving data-informed decision-making across the organization. The Business Intelligence Analyst leverages advanced analytics, storytelling, and business acumen to uncover insights, identify performance trends, and deliver actionable recommendations to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership. Strategic Analysis & Insight Generation: • Conduct deep-dive analyses to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities across business units • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights that influence strategic decisions Stakeholder Engagement • Partner with cross-functional teams to align analytics with business goals • Present findings through compelling storytelling tailored to audiences from operational teams to EVP-level leadership Technical Enablement & Project Leadership: • Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications for developers • Lead and support multiple high-impact projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business needs • Serve as a liaison between business units and analytics teams to ensure solutions meet user needs Requirements • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required • An advanced degree (MBA, MS in Analytics, etc.) is highly preferred • 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field • Ability to create business solutions that increase competitive advantage • Ability to exercise good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions • Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often times simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines • Ability to solve technical problems/processes and understand complex details • Ability to increase operating efficiency with produce high quality solutions • A high level of interpersonal and verbal communication skills necessary to relate to other people at their business knowledge level • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems and do the necessary research using multiple sources of information to arrive at innovative solutions • Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas, pivot tables, and modeling • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic initiatives through data • Expertise in data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and advanced Excel modeling • Experience with SQL and familiarity with Python or R for data manipulation and analysis • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and business process optimization The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
