Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior BI Data Analyst on a contract basis to leverage advanced data analytics and visualization skills for impactful decision-making support. The ideal candidate will transform data into actionable insights through the development of visual reports, dashboards, and KPIs, and by integrating Power BI analytics across diverse business functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and provide visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards leveraging Power BI and other analytics platforms.
• Import, transform, and connect various data sources to meet business intelligence needs.
• Design and develop both tabular and multidimensional data models.
• Integrate Power BI reports into applications using embedded analytics, ensuring data security.
• Work collaboratively within agile environments across functions to deliver substantial data solutions.
Must-Have Skills:
• Proficiency in SQL for complex data analysis.
• Expertise in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Strong understanding of data modeling and business intelligence best practices.
• A Bachelor's degree is required with 5-7 years of practical experience in data analytics.
• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline is a definite plus.
Industry Experience:
Experience in eCommerce, B2C, and B2B environments is preferred, along with a proficiency in utilizing web analytics tools and understanding web-based data analytics frameworks. Familiarity with data science, automation through Python, and statistical testing methods is highly advantageous.
