Power BI Developer – 100% Onsite in The Woodlands (Houston Local Candidates Only)
Our company is seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer to join our team onsite in The Woodlands. This role is open exclusively to candidates currently residing in the Houston area. As a Power BI Developer, you will be responsible for building dynamic, interactive data visualizations and dashboards to empower business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop advanced Power BI dashboards and reports using DAX and M queries.
• Design and implement a wide variety of visualizations, such as slicers, line charts, pie charts, histograms, maps, scatter plots, bullet charts, heat maps, and tree maps.
• Configure and manage data gateways and connectors for seamless data refresh and integration.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and deliver impactful, user-friendly solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and visual consistency across all reports.
• Perform data extraction and transformation using SQL queries and ODBC/JDBC connections.
• Integrate Microsoft Excel and SharePoint data sources into Power BI solutions.
Required Qualifications:
• Local to Houston, Texas, and available for full-time onsite work in The Woodlands.
• Deep expertise in writing complex DAX and M queries.
• Advanced skills in Power BI data visualization, including all core chart types and custom formatting.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI gateways and connectors.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
• Expert-level SQL query writing and data extraction using ODBC/JDBC.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification.
