Primary (Must-Have):
✔️Databricks SQL: Mastery in writing performant queries, building reusable views, and designing curated analytic datasets for large-scale cloud data platforms.
✔️Microsoft Power BI Ecosystem: Advanced proficiency with MS Power BI, DAX modeling, and Power BI Report Builder for pixel-perfect paginated reports.
✔️Tableau Suite (Creator & Administrator): Deep expertise with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Cloud administration, content governance, performance tuning, and user access management.

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an elite Senior BI Consultant with 10 to 14 years of experience to serve as a technical architect and analytics leader. Located onsite 3-4 days a week in Plano, TX, this consultant will design and optimize scalable data products that drive enterprise-wide strategic decisions. Acting as the ultimate bridge between complex data lakes and executive visibility, you will harness Databricks SQL to extract high-volume data, and engineer robust semantic layers across both MS Power BI and Tableau. This role requires an advanced consultant capable of handling everything from performance-tuning cloud data queries to managing Tableau Server infrastructure and embedding analytics seamlessly into corporate workflows.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
✔️End-to-End Solution Architecture: Design and deploy comprehensive analytics solutions using Databricks SQL, Power BI, and Tableau to translate massive, complex datasets into accessible, high-impact visual stories.
✔️Data Modeling & Semantics: Build robust data models, semantic layers, and star schemas that optimize report performance, ensure absolute data consistency, and empower self-service analytics for business teams.
✔️Dashboard & Report Development: Build highly interactive, parameter-driven Tableau and Power BI dashboards highlighting complex KPIs. Develop precisely styled, repeatable paginated reports using Power BI Report Builder for regulatory and financial needs.
✔️Tableau Environment Management: Configure and administer Tableau Server and Tableau Cloud environments. Leverage Tableau Advanced Management and Data Management tools to orchestrate data flows, tune resource utilization, map data lineage, and ensure strict governance.
✔️Stakeholder Advisory & Leadership: Partner closely with cross-functional product owners, analysts, and data engineers to gather requirements. Guide non-technical executive stakeholders through data interpretation and recommend actionable, data-driven strategies.
✔️Security & Compliance: Coordinate with information security teams to implement role-based access controls and ensure data sharing practices fully comply with corporate data governance standards.
✔️Mentorship & Documentation: Provide technical mentorship to junior developers on modeling and dashboard optimization. Create comprehensive solution designs, data lineage roadmaps, and support runbooks to mitigate operational risk.
