Senior BI Consultant (Tableau / Alteryx / SQL – Asset Management)
If you’ve built Tableau dashboards that sales teams actually use—and you know how to turn messy financial data into something actionable—this will feel familiar.
This is not a reporting role. You’ll be working directly with business stakeholders, shaping how data drives revenue decisions.
Who this role is for
• BI professionals who work hands-on with Tableau + Alteryx + SQL
• People who’ve supported sales, client coverage, or CRM analytics teams
• Candidates comfortable owning data → insight → visualization end-to-end
• Those who’ve worked in asset management or broader financial services
Role Snapshot
• Work directly with sales, client coverage, and analytics teams
• Turn large, multi-source data into actionable insights
• Build dashboards that influence sales strategy and performance
• Own analytics lifecycle—from data intake to user adoption
Environment
• Buy-side / Asset Management
• High-accountability, fast-moving business analytics team
• Strong interaction with revenue-facing stakeholders
What this role actually owns day-to-day
• Sitting with business teams to understand how they measure performance
• Pulling and shaping data from multiple internal/external sources
• Building Tableau dashboards used by sales and leadership
• Using Alteryx to prep, blend, and automate data workflows
• Iterating on new datasets to uncover patterns that impact sales outcomes
• Translating complex analysis into something non-technical stakeholders use
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with sales, CRM, and analytics teams to define reporting needs
• Build and maintain Tableau dashboards used for business decision-making
• Use Alteryx to clean, transform, and integrate large datasets
• Write SQL queries to extract and structure data across systems
• Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify trends and opportunities
• Evaluate new data sources and integrate them into reporting workflows
• Drive adoption of BI tools—training users and refining dashboards based on feedback
• Apply analytical thinking to answer real business questions tied to revenue
Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
• 6+ years hands-on BI / analytics experience
• Strong Tableau + Alteryx + SQL (core stack)
• Experience in Asset Management or Financial Services
• Experience supporting sales, client coverage, or CRM analytics
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders (not just technical teams)
