Lead Data Analyst - Power BI / SQL Server
Contract | 6 Months | Outside IR35 | Competitive Day Rate | Hybrid
We are seeking a Lead Data Analyst with strong Power BI and SQL Server experience to support strategic reporting and insight across the business.
This role combines hands-on analytics delivery with leadership responsibilities, including mentoring and coaching analysts while setting reporting and data standards.
Responsibilities
• Design and deliver reporting solutions using Power BI
• Develop robust data models and dashboards for senior stakeholders
• Write and optimise SQL Server queries for analysis and reporting
• Translate business requirements into clear, actionable insights
• Set best practices for analytics and reporting
• Mentor and guide analysts while remaining delivery?focused
Essential Skills & Experience
• Advanced Power BI experience (including DAX and data modelling)
• Strong SQL Server skills
• Experience working with multiple data sources
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
• Experience operating in a lead or senior analyst capacity
