Business Intelligence Consultant

No C2C Key Responsibilities • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions • Query and extract data from AWS-based databases (Redshift, Athena, Aurora, S3) and other relational databases to support accurate, timely reporting • Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports for executive (VP/Director-level) business reviews (WBRs, MBRs, QBRs) • Manage end-to-end program reporting: define KPIs, track progress, identify risks, and surface insights proactively • Conduct root cause analysis and data validation to ensure reporting accuracy and data integrity • Support risk identification and mitigation through data — flagging anomalies, trends, and gaps in operational performance • Document reporting logic, data definitions, and methodology clearly for both technical and non-technical audiences • Communicate findings and recommendations confidently to senior stakeholders in written and verbal formats Required Qualifications • 4+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field • Strong proficiency in SQL; ability to write complex queries against large-scale cloud databases (AWS Redshift, Athena, Aurora, or equivalent) • Experience with BI/visualization tools such as Amazon QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI • Demonstrated experience supporting executive-level reporting and business reviews • Strong stakeholder management skills — able to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly across levels • Experience with program or project tracking, including risk management and status reporting • Familiarity with AWS data ecosystem (S3, Glue, Athena, Redshift) Preferred Qualifications • Experience with ETL pipeline development or data pipeline management • Python scripting experience (for data manipulation or automation) • Background in data quality validation and governance • Experience in a consulting or client-facing delivery role
