Role description
Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Location: Hybrid – Cleveland, OH Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) Position Overview We are seeking a BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics team. This role is critical in turning complex data into actionable insights, building dashboards, and supporting teams across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities β€’ Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools β€’ Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data. β€’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-impact BI solutions. β€’ Monitor BI solution performance, troubleshoot data accuracy issues, and ensure accessibility. β€’ Document BI processes and provide end-user training to expand adoption (with emphasis on MicroStrategy). Required Qualifications β€’ Experience: 4–7 years as a BI Developer, BI Analyst, or related role. β€’ Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, BusinessObjects, OBIEE, MicroStrategy). β€’ Strong SQL skills with relational databases and data warehouses. β€’ Knowledge of data visualization best practices. β€’ Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical users. β€’ Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Business, or related field. Preferred Qualifications β€’ Previous experience with MicroStrategy (or strong willingness to learn it). β€’ Experience in large/global enterprise environments.
