Business Intelligence Developer

Business Intelligence (BI) Developer Location: Hybrid – Cleveland, OH Type: Contract-to-Hire (CTH) Position Overview We are seeking a BI Developer to join our Business Intelligence & Analytics team. This role is critical in turning complex data into actionable insights, building dashboards, and supporting teams across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI tools • Write and optimize SQL queries to extract and transform data. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver high-impact BI solutions. • Monitor BI solution performance, troubleshoot data accuracy issues, and ensure accessibility. • Document BI processes and provide end-user training to expand adoption (with emphasis on MicroStrategy). Required Qualifications • Experience: 4–7 years as a BI Developer, BI Analyst, or related role. • Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, BusinessObjects, OBIEE, MicroStrategy). • Strong SQL skills with relational databases and data warehouses. • Knowledge of data visualization best practices. • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to explain insights to non-technical users. • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, Business, or related field. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience with MicroStrategy (or strong willingness to learn it). • Experience in large/global enterprise environments.
