Business Intelligence Developer (Plano)

Our client, a leading organization in the financial services industry, is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer (Plano) to join their dynamic team. As a Business Intelligence Developer (Plano), you will be an integral part of the Data & Analytics department supporting the Global Credit Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, collaboration, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer Location:Plano, TX (Local Only) Hybrid Role: (3 days on-site and 2 days remote) What's the Job? • Extract data from multiple sources, manipulate and validate data, and perform root cause analysis. • Design, manage, and deploy data systems, reports, and dynamic dashboards to support business decision-making. • Develop complex MicroStrategy reports using advanced filters, level metrics, transformation metrics, and pass-through functions. • Present analytic findings and operational solutions to leadership, providing actionable insights. • Train users on reporting tools and systems to ensure effective utilization across teams. What's Needed? • Extensive experience in SQL coding across SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata environments. • Proficiency in SAS, Alteryx, and MicroStrategy reporting tools. • Knowledge of analytics, data manipulation, and validation techniques. • Ability to gather requirements, analyze data, and prepare executive presentations.
