Job Title: Business Intelligence Developer – Power BI Location: Katy, TX (Onsite) Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer with strong expertise in Power BI to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining BI solutions to support data-driven decision-making. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. • Optimize data models for performance and scalability. • Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate and consistent data representation. • Perform data analysis and provide actionable insights to drive business decisions. • Ensure data security and compliance with organizational standards. Required Skills: • Strong experience with Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Power Query). • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and transformation. • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, Azure SQL, or Oracle. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Skills: • Experience with Azure Data Services (Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse). • Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts. • Previous experience working in an Agile environment.
