Business Intelligence Developer

Addison Group is working with a Transportation/Logistics company in search for a BI Developer who is responsible for end-to-end analytics, reporting, and BI delivery using Azure SQL, React-based dashboards, Azure Data Lake, and open-source analytics tools. This role owns report development, SQL-based analysis, dashboarding, ad-hoc reporting, and trend analysis, delivering accurate and actionable insights to business stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience in SQL report writing and query optimization • Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboard development • Strong data analysis and trend identification skills • Experience with Excel pivots and analytical reporting • Familiarity with Azure SQL, Azure Data Lake, and modern analytics stacks • Experience with DuckDB and/or Ray for analytical workloads • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills Technology Stack • BI & Reporting: Power BI, Power BI Embedded • Frontend: React, JavaScript, TypeScript • Data Platforms: Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 • Querying & Modeling: T-SQL, DAX, Power Query (M) • Open Source: DuckDB, Ray • Reporting Tools: Excel (PivotTables, Power Query, advanced formulas) • DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)
