🏦 Tableau / SQL Developer – Mortgage Domain (W2 Only) 📍 Location: Reston, VA (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite) 💼 Client: Leading Mortgage & Financial Services Firm 🕒 Employment Type: W2 Contract (C2C not accepted) 🎯 Experience Level: 5–7+ Years 💬 Highly Preferred: Former Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae employees About the Role We are seeking a Tableau / SQL Developer with strong technical and analytical expertise to support critical reporting, analytics, and software initiatives within a top mortgage enterprise. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in data visualization, system analysis, and coding — along with familiarity in mortgage or secondary lending environments. This position is ideal for professionals with prior experience at Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae who can navigate complex datasets and deliver insights that drive business decisions. Key Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and optimize Tableau dashboards and visualizations for business intelligence and analytics. • Write and optimize SQL queries for data analysis, validation, and reporting. • Collaborate with cross-functional and virtual teams to meet strict project deadlines. • Perform system analysis, documentation, and testing to support SDLC processes. • Participate in Agile sprint cycles, managing multiple priorities and deliverables. • Create clear, concise documentation and reporting for technical and business stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (post-graduate degree preferred). • 5–7+ years of software development and analytics experience. • Proficiency in Tableau (development and/or administration). • Strong experience in SQL, Python/Java/C coding. • Skilled in JIRA, MS Office, and reporting documentation. • Excellent written communication and presentation skills. • Demonstrated ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment. Preferred Qualifications • Experience working within Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, or other mortgage enterprises. • Knowledge of Salesforce, Power BI, or cloud technologies. • Professional certifications in data analytics, cloud, or BI tools.
