Business Intelligence Developer

This position is Contract-to-hire, and will require being on-site 1-2 days per week. No 3rd party or C2C candidates will be considered. Overview: We are seeking a Power BI Developer to support our transition from a legacy on-premise EHR to the AthenaOne Cloud EHR. The role will focus on converting and consolidating reports from SAP Business Objects into Power BI, ensuring streamlined and impactful reporting for business users. Responsibilities: • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs during EHR migration. • Analyze 600+ legacy SAP Business Objects reports to identify and prioritize ~50–60 core reports for redevelopment. • Sunset redundant or low-value reports while ensuring accuracy and compliance in core reporting. • Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making. • Optimize data models and queries for performance and usability. • Partner with data engineers and business analysts to ensure proper data integration and validation. • Provide user training, documentation, and ongoing support for new Power BI solutions. Qualifications: • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI development, DAX, and data modeling. • Proven experience converting or migrating reports from SAP Business Objects (or similar tools) to Power BI. • Background in healthcare data and EHR systems strongly preferred. • Knowledge of AthenaOne Cloud EHR a plus. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work with both technical teams and non-technical business stakeholders.
