Business Intelligence Developer

Business Intelligence Engineer Cincinnati, OH - Hybrid We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Engineer to join our Cincinnati local Client. This role will be instrumental in designing, developing, and maintaining analytic solutions that drive strategic decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Power BI, Databricks, and Snowflake, and a strong understanding of data modeling, visualization, and business analysis. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities • Assist in analyzing business issues and define requirements to design analytic solutions aligned with organizational goals. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, project managers, and cross-functional teams to gather information, model system requirements, and document specifications. • Support the development and implementation of automated system protocols to reduce manual processes and enhance operational efficiency. • Assist in developing analytic assets and supporting documentation to ensure continuity and scalability. • Participate in the analytic asset review lifecycle to ensure assets remain current and aligned with evolving business needs. • Contribute to the creation of end-user documentation and assist in delivering training to promote successful adoption of new systems. • May assist in monitoring project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely and budget-compliant execution. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • 3+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics. • Prior experience in the insurance industry is highly preferred but not required. • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Databricks, and Snowflake is required. • Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Cognos is a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Preferred Skills • Proficiency in SQL and data modeling. • Experience with cloud data platforms and ETL processes. • Strong communication and documentation skills. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
