Job Description
Key Qualifications:
β’ Strong proficiency in databases, data visualization and reporting tools such as Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, Snowflake, Tableau, Business Objects, ThoughtSpot and others.
β’ Hands-on experience with querying of data and creating data sources to provide analysis and present data to the customers.
β’ Experienced in data driven approach, implement techniques for data reconciliation in systems with high frequency loads and business critical environments.
β’ Experience working in Legal domain, understanding of business and practice of law, terminology, and operations.
β’ Strong data analysis skills along with experience in detailed analysis of source systems, data profiling, measures and KPI definitions.
β’ Ability to collaborate with business partners within legal and engineering departments on business requirements, system design, data insights, user testing, and product launches.
β’ Collaboration skills to work with multidisciplinary teams consisting of lawyers, paralegals, and other professionals.
β’ Understanding of legal and ethical considerations of handling confidential information and maintaining data privacy and security.
β’ Analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at troubleshooting technical issues related to reporting & data visualization products (e.g. Business Objects and Tableau)
β’ Understand data visualization principles and best practices, capable of translating sophisticated data into compelling visual stories.
β’ Should have excellent communication and collaborative skills. Ability to interpret technical lingo to end users.
β’ Proven track record to excel in a fast-paced agile development team.
β’ Strong sense of execution and accountability for the overall success of the program.
Additional Requirements:
β’ Proven experience with SAP Business Objects, Tableau, and SQL.
β’ Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL,or Oracle).
β’ Familiarity with data warehouse technologies like Snowflake.
β’ Experience in designing and implementing data models.
β’ Solid understanding of data warehouse concepts and ETL processes.
β’ Experience with integrating data from multiple sources and building interactive dashboards and reports.
β’ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
β’ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical business users.
β’ Experience with data visualization best practices and dashboard design.
β’ Experience with Python or other scripting languages for data manipulation and automation.
β’ Ability to support Data Management initiatives.
