Business Intelligence Engineer (Looker & Analytics)

We’re looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Engineer to lead the design and development of scalable Looker dashboards and reporting experiences for both internal teams and external publishers. This is a project-based role focused on improving data quality, usability, and reporting consistency. Please do not apply if you do not have hands on Looker experience. What You’ll Do • Build dashboards in Looker for internal and external stakeholders • Develop LookML models and write SQL • Gather requirements and turn them into scalable reporting solutions • Standardize metrics and reporting definitions • Improve data trust, usability, and adoption • Support publisher-facing analytics experiences • Investigate discrepancies and improve reporting quality What We’re Looking For • Strong Looker and LookML experience • Advanced SQL • BI/dashboard design expertise & data presentation skills • Experience translating business needs into reporting solutions • Experience with data modeling and metric governance Nice to Have • Experience with external/client-facing reporting • Adtech, digital media, SaaS, or publisher analytics experience • Financial/revenue analytics background • Experience with dashboard governance and training What Success Looks Like • Internal stakeholders trust and adopt Looker • Dashboards become easier to use and more consistent • Publisher-facing reporting is clear, scalable, and reliable • Reporting requests become faster to deliver and easier to maintain
