You’ll be part of a forward-thinking environment where data, technology, and analytics come together to enhance decision-making and drive innovation across the organization. 💡 What You’ll Be Doing As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will help transition legacy reporting solutions to modern data platforms while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability. Your work will focus on: • Migrating and rebuilding legacy SSRS reports into Power BI and Paginated Reports • Designing and optimizing Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models • Updating queries and transitioning reports to new data sources • Validating reporting logic and ensuring consistency between legacy and modern reporting • Using DAX and Power Query (M) to build efficient, scalable data models • Working with T-SQL to understand, validate, and rebuild legacy datasets • Analyzing complex reporting logic and improving it for modern BI environments • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions This role requires someone who can think analytically, work independently, and make thoughtful technical decisions when rebuilding complex reporting environments. 🔧 What We’re Looking For Required Skills & Experience • 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports • Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling • Experience converting or rebuilding SSRS reports into Power BI or Paginated Reports • Solid experience working with SQL / T-SQL • Proficiency with Power Query (M) for data transformation • Strong understanding of dataset architecture, relationships, and performance optimization • Experience working with large and complex datasets • Ability to analyze and replicate complex reporting logic • Strong communication skills for documenting requirements and technical decisions ⭐ Nice to Have • Advanced DAX modeling techniques • Experience building enterprise-level Power BI semantic models • Experience using Power BI Report Builder • Background working on large-scale reporting migrations or modernization initiatives 🌟 Why This Role Is Exciting • Work on enterprise reporting modernization projects • Help transform legacy reporting systems into modern Power BI solutions • Collaborate with experienced data and analytics teams • Contribute to meaningful projects that improve data-driven decision-making If you enjoy solving complex data challenges and building scalable reporting solutions, this role offers a great opportunity to make a real impact.
