Here at Human Appeal we have an exciting opportunity for a Business Intelligence Manager to join our team based in Cheadle, Greater Manchester. You will join us on a full-time basis as part of an initial 1-year fixed term contract with a view to progressing into a permanent role. In return, you will receive a market competitive salary depending on experience.

As Business Intelligence Manager, the successful candidate will play an integral role in leading on the planning, coordinating, and supervising activities related to the design, development, and implementation of function/organizational reporting and analytics, while also ensuring the maintenance, support, and upgrade of reports, dashboards, and data warehouses. The Business Intelligence Manager will collaborate with multiple departments to support data-driven decision making and enhance performance of organisation strategy.
We are ideally looking to appoint somebody immediately to this role.

Key duties and responsibilities of the Business Intelligence Manager:
Establish a Data Quality Management process
Work closely with related managers to establish automated processes as required.
Standardize Reporting and Dashboard for all Human Appeal family and departments
Implement a Data Analytics and Insights function
Manage and Collaboration with key stakeholders
What were looking for in our Business Intelligence Manager:
Must have a degree in Business Intelligence or IT related equivalent and a project management qualification or extensive experience
Must have a strong background in business intelligence, data governance, and analytics, with proven leadership skills to standardize and improve data processes across the organization
Experience in project planning, execution, and delivery. Desirable:
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or Tableau certifications).
Certifications in data analytics or business intelligence tools, such as Tableau Specialist or Power BI Data Analyst.
Nonprofit/Charity Sector Experience
Advanced Analytics Knowledge Skills:
Data analytics and reporting tools such as Power Bi
Proficiency in BI Tools: Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools like Tableau, Power BI, QlikView, or similar.
Data Analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and insights from data.
SQL and Data Warehousing (If applicable): Expertise in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
Data Management: Understanding of data management disciplines and best practices.
Fluent written and spoken English is essential. Additional languages such as Arabic and Urdu are desirable
Passionate and knowledgeable about the international development sector
