Client: Major Medical Device Client Position: Business Intelligence Programming Analyst – REMOTE Duration: 12+ Months Contract Location: Remote \_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_\_ Description: Tasks / Project Responsibilities: • Liaise with reporting teams and clinical project teams, as needed, to gather clinical report and data listing needs and requests to ensure that all report/data requirements are clearly understood and meet the requestor’s expectations. • Participate in requirement gathering, design, development, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and maintenance of clinical study reports and data deliverables for multiple clinical studies (databases) in accordance with department SOPs. • Develop reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools. • Work closely with Report Development and Validation teams to ensure report deliverables are released in accordance with applicable rules, regulations, and corporate compliance standards. • Collaborate with IT teams to address and resolve technical issues. Required: • 5+ years of experience developing reports and dashboards using business intelligence tools, including experience with data transformation and visualization technologies • Experience with data modeling, data transformation, and data visualization • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write moderately complex queries • 5+ years of experience liaising with stakeholders and documenting report requirements • Proven ability to produce complex clinical study reports • Experience working in a regulated environment and adherence to department SOPs • Strong organizational skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment • Excellent problem-solving skills, proactive approach, and ability to make and clearly communicate decisions Preferred: • 3+ years of experience with major reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Cognos, SSRS, Oracle Reports, Spotfire, etc.) • 1+ years of working knowledge of an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system • Knowledge of clinical research processes, clinical data processing practices, and relational database fundamentals EDUCATION: • Required: B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
