Job Title:Β Business Intelligence Senior Analyst Duration: 6 Months Position:Β Contract Schedule:Β On-site (5 days) Location: Irvine, CAΒ 92618 Required Pay Scale: $51.62/HR on W2 β€’ β€’ β€’ Due to client requirements this role is only open to USC or GC candidates β€’ β€’ β€’ Job Summary: We are seeking a Business Intelligence Senior Analyst with deep expertise in Microsoft Power BI to design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports. This consultant will primarily focus on translating business requirements into intuitive visualizations that provide actionable insights for stakeholders. The ideal candidate has strong Power BI development skills, experience working with complex data sets, and the ability to deliver high-quality reporting solutions. Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. - Gather and translate business requirements into effective data visualizations. - Develop and optimize data models, measures, and calculations using DAX. - Connect Power BI to multiple data sources and ensure data accuracy and performance. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and recommend visualization solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve dashboard performance and data issues. - Follow BI development standards and best practices for dashboard design and governance. - Support enhancements and ongoing maintenance of existing Power BI solutions. Required Qualifications - 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, data analytics, or reporting. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Power BI, including dashboard development, data modeling, and DAX. - Experience connecting Power BI to SQL databases, cloud data sources, and enterprise systems. - Strong SQL skills for querying and transforming data. - Experience with Power Query (M) and ETL concepts. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a consulting environment. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or Power Platform. - Knowledge of data warehousing and dimensional modeling. - Experience working in Agile project environments. - Microsoft Power BI certifications are a plus
