Role Overview
Location: Hybrid (Dearborn, MI preferred) | Open to Remote
Type: Full?Time | Senior Level
The Opportunity: Be the Brain Behind the Product
We’re looking for a Senior Product Analyst to act as the strategic “Insight Accelerator” for our Digital Cabin product. This is not a reporting role. We need a forensic investigator who can dive directly into raw data, break bottlenecks, and surface insights that drive real product decisions.
You’ll operate at the intersection of Product, Engineering, and Analytics, translating complex telemetry into clear, actionable insights while central teams build long?term pipelines.
What You’ll Do
• Investigate user behavior including retention, churn, engagement, MAU/DAU using advanced SQL in BigQuery
• Perform deep?dive forensic analysis on raw logs to uncover root causes and meaningful patterns
• Build analytical sandboxes in GCP by cleaning, joining, and structuring raw datasets (business logic, not ML)
• Design and own product metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and analyses used by leadership
• Create high?impact visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Dash Enterprise, or similar tools
• Proactively generate hypotheses, challenge vanity metrics, and influence product roadmap decisions
• Define and document business logic (e.g., what constitutes an “Active Session”) for future adoption
• Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Central Analytics teams — you prototype, they productionize
What We’re Looking For
• 5–7+ years of experience in Product Analytics (not just operational or financial reporting)
• Expert?level SQL including window functions, CTEs, nested data, and complex joins
• Hands?on experience in Google Cloud Platform / BigQuery with the ability to structure datasets independently
• Strong understanding of cohort analysis, retention curves, and funnel optimization
• Comfort operating in ambiguous, messy data environments
• Proven ability to translate raw data into actionable business insights
Nice to Have
• Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool)
• Experience with Amplitude or similar event?based analytics platforms
• Background in subscription or usage?based products
• Master’s degree
