We're seeking a senior-level Business Intelligence & Data Strategy Specialist to help drive enterprise-wide analytics, reporting, and AI-powered decision-making initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with both business leaders and technical teams to solve real-world challenges through data. What You'll Do Drive Data Strategy & Business Outcomes • Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to understand challenges and identify data-driven solutions. • Serve as a trusted advisor on reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives. • Translate business needs into scalable reporting and analytics solutions. • Help leadership make informed decisions through actionable insights. Build Analytics & Reporting Solutions • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries across large datasets. • Analyze information from multiple systems to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and operational improvements. • Create dashboards, reports, scorecards, and visualizations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability. Leverage AI & Modern Analytics • Utilize AI tools and prompt engineering techniques to improve reporting and data accessibility. • Develop repeatable AI-assisted analytics processes and best practices. • Validate AI-generated insights to ensure business relevance and accuracy. • Support responsible AI adoption and governance initiatives. Improve Data Quality & Governance • Promote best practices for data governance, quality, and stewardship. • Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to improve data reliability. • Establish standards for reporting, validation, and data integrity. Lead & Mentor Others • Coach analysts and business users on analytics best practices. • Deliver training sessions that improve data literacy across the organization. • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders. Support Project Delivery • Lead analytics initiatives using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies. • Create project documentation, requirements, roadmaps, user stories, and related artifacts. • Drive successful implementation of enterprise reporting and business intelligence solutions. Required Qualifications • 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Data Warehousing, Data Strategy, Business Analysis, or related fields. • Advanced SQL skills with extensive experience in data extraction, transformation, and analysis. • Strong experience translating business requirements into technical solutions. • Experience building enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools. • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. • Excellent stakeholder management, presentation, and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing (EDW) and Business Intelligence architecture. • Technical leadership experience across Agile and traditional project delivery models. • Background in data governance, master data management, and data quality initiatives. • Experience mentoring teams and promoting data-driven decision-making. • Hands-on experience with AI technologies, prompt engineering, or AI-assisted analytics solutions. • Experience using Python, Streamlit, or similar tools for analytics and reporting. • Experience working in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, government, financial services, insurance, or similar environments.
