Position: Business Intelligence Specialist with SAS/PowerBI Location: Onsite in Orlando Florida Preferred: Independent Consultant Duration: 8+ Weeks (Could be a Long Term Contract) PREFERRED TO WORK ON W2 OR 1099 Job Description: want someone hands on so that in the next phase of the project they can extend to do the actual development work Analyze the client’s current BI environment, including SAS-based reporting. Review and disposition existing SAS reports. Design and deliver a proof of concept (POC) for converting SAS reports into Power BI. Provide hands-on development in Power BI to build scalable, user-friendly dashboards and reports. Advise on rationalizing and streamlining the client’s BI ecosystem, ensuring performance, usability, and governance. Qualifications: 8–10 years of experience in business intelligence and data visualization. 5+ years of experience with BI architecture and reporting modernization projects. Strong ability to read and interpret SAS code. 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing with Power BI. Proven track record of assessing, streamlining, and modernizing BI/reporting environments.
