This remote role emphasizes development, implementation, and maintenance of BI tools and data interoperability solutions for CHFS stakeholders. Position Business Objects Services Specialist – Remote, contract-based position supporting federal compliance and enterprise BI efforts for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Responsibilities • Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements. • Develop/maintain management reports and data queries for operational needs and records requests. • Design/support BI solutions using SAP Business Objects (Crystal Reports, WEBI, Dashboard Designer). • Build dashboards and interactive visualizations using Tableau. • Implement interoperability solutions (EDI, MQSeries, JMS, MSMQ). • Coordinate with the Enterprise BI program and COT Data Services Branch. • Analyze and enhance Business Objects Enterprise Platform. • Manage CSRs and perform daily maintenance. Required Qualifications • Strong experience with SAP Business Objects suite: Crystal Reports, WEBI, Dashboard Designer. • Proficiency in Tableau for dashboard and data visualization. • Background in .NET development, Visual Studio, and SQL-based relational databases. • Practical experience with EDI, MQSeries, JMS, MSMQ. • Familiarity with SACWIS/CCWIS systems and federal child welfare reporting. • Ability to manage and optimize Business Objects Platform performance. • Effective communication and collaboration with technical/business teams. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated project and time management skills.
