The role
SSE’s Business & Operational Support Team provides essential technical support to the Business Energy Department. We manage and maintain existing applications, oversee the testing and deployment of new software releases, and respond to business-driven change requests using rapid application development tools.
You will
• Provide technical support for a variety of applications, ranging from third-party systems to in-house developed solutions.
• Lead the design and development of software solutions using C# .Net, SQL, MS Access, and MS Excel.
• Respond to high volumes of support requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Identify and implement opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service.
• Plan and manage tasks independently to meet deadlines.
• Share knowledge and collaborate with team members to build a broad skill base across the department.
You have
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, and/or SQL Server.
• Understanding of C# .Net, Python, Databricks, Power BI
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
