Role: Senior Business Reporting Analyst Duration: 12+ Months Address: New York, NY 10105/Hybrid – 4 days onsite and 1 day remote Key Responsibilities • Establish and maintain effective relationships with business and technology partners to ensure alignment and successful project delivery. • Build consensus and drive brainstorming and requirements-gathering discussions with cross-functional teams. • Translate business reporting requirements into clear technical specifications for BI developers. • Partner with BI developers to design and deliver intuitive, visually compelling dashboards and reports tailored to each business line. • Advocate for and implement sound, practical data pipeline and reporting processes, operating with a continuous improvement mindset. Qualifications Experience • Minimum of 6 years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field. • Demonstrated success in designing and delivering intuitive, visually engaging Power BI reports and Paginated Reports; a portfolio of report designs is highly desirable. • Relevant experience in finance industry and private equity • Project management experience is a plus. Technical Skills • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases. • Proficiency in Power BI, including Power Query, DAX, data modeling, and advanced visualization techniques. • Power BI or equivalent certifications are a plus. • Experience with Tableau and Microsoft cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, ADLS, SQL MI) preferred.
