Role description
NOTE: Applications are welcome from individual candidates only. Please, no agency or consulting firm submissions.
About the Role
We are looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Business Systems & Data Integration Analyst to help streamline and connect our business platforms, improve data quality, and build scalable processes. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving messy data problems, identifying inefficiencies, and creating automated solutions that keep multiple systems in sync.
You’ll be working across platforms like QuickBooks Online (finance), Shopify (e-commerce), AutoQuotes (project quoting), Salesforce (CRM), Klaviyo (marketing), Zapier (automation), and others.
Key priorities include:
Ensuring data is accurate, synced, and intact across all systems.
Generating reports and dashboards that reveal what’s selling, what’s profitable, and where gaps exist.
Identifying issues in product, vendor, and customer data — and fixing them at the source.
Supporting the team with data-driven insights that guide better decisions.
Designing automated solutions and workflows to reduce manual errors and save time.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze, reconcile, and clean data across financial, e-commerce, CRM, and quoting systems.
Identify gaps, mismatches, and inefficiencies (e.g., inventory not syncing, misc product codes, duplicate customer data).
Design and document standard operating processes (SOPs) to prevent recurring issues.
Build and manage integrations between systems using Zapier, APIs, and other tools.
Automate routine workflows and reporting.
Collaborate with operations, sales, and finance teams to ensure systems work seamlessly.
Use AI and automation tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and solution development.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in business systems analysis, data integration, RevOps, or similar roles.
Strong data analysis skills (Excel/Google Sheets; SQL/Python a plus).
Experience working with QuickBooks Online, Shopify, Salesforce, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Comfort designing workflows and integrations across multiple systems.
Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Curiosity and a knack for leveraging AI tools to streamline processes.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AutoQuotes, Klaviyo, Amazon/Walmart seller tools.
Hands-on experience with APIs or custom integrations.
Background in operations, finance, or e-commerce workflows.
Exposure to NetSuite or interest in learning, as we plan a future migration from QuickBooks.
Why Join Us?
Work at the intersection of business, technology, and automation.
Opportunity to make a visible impact by fixing problems and building scalable solutions.
Exposure to a wide set of platforms and business processes.
Collaborative team culture that values innovation and problem-solving.
Note
While this role is designed for a mid-level candidate, entry-level graduates are welcome to apply if you are a fast learner, eager to explore new tools, and excited about not just solving business problems but also finding ways to automate solutions.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
