Business/Data Analyst - Local to Dallas ONLY

Job Title: Business Data Analyst Location: Plano, TX (Onsite/Hybrid as applicable) Duration: 6+ Months Tax Term: W2 Only Interview Process: Video Interview Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Data Analyst to support data-driven decision-making within the auto finance domain. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in data visualization, querying, and statistical analysis, along with the ability to translate complex datasets into actionable business insights. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI • Write efficient and complex queries using SQL for data extraction and analysis • Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities • Present insights and recommendations to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business and technical requirements • Utilize Python or R for advanced analytics and data modeling (as needed) Required Skills • Strong hands-on experience with Power BI and dashboard development • Proficiency in SQL • Working knowledge of Python or R • Experience with data acquisition and data cleaning techniques • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities • Excellent communication and presentation skills Education • MBA or Master’s degree preferred (Finance, Accounting, Statistics, or related field) Domain Experience • Mandatory: Experience in Auto Finance / Automotive Financial Services
