CAD/OMS Data & Deployment Coordinator
Location: Rosemead, CAEmployment Type: 18 MonthsIndustry: Electric Utilities / Transmission & Distribution (T&D)
Position Overview
The CAD/OMS Data & Deployment Coordinator plays a critical support role within the Electric Utilities environment, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and readiness of operational data across Crew Management, Outage Management, and related Transmission & Distribution (T&D) systems. This role is responsible for executing crew deployment updates, performing data cleanup activities, and supporting documentation and validation efforts associated with the Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS) transition.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in Excel, with the ability to work within remote desktop environments and support utility operations systems.
Key Responsibilities
Execute and maintain crew changes within the Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD) system to ensure accurate deployment plans and personnel assignments.
Update and validate deployment schedules and crew records to reflect real-time operational requirements.
Perform ad-hoc and scheduled data cleanup activities across the Outage Management System (OMS) and related T&D systems.
Ensure data integrity, consistency, and accuracy in preparation for ADMS migration and system transitions.
Review, correct, and update SAP notifications and related system entries to maintain accurate operational records.
Support documentation efforts related to system readiness, data validation, and operational processes.
Assist with validation checks to confirm system data aligns with field operations and deployment plans.
Coordinate with internal teams to identify and resolve data discrepancies across CAD, OMS, and related systems.
Maintain organized records of data updates, changes, and validation activities.
Follow established procedures, compliance standards, and data governance guidelines.
Minimum Experience & Required Skills
Minimum Experience Required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in a data coordination, operations support, dispatch support, or administrative role.
Experience supporting utility operations, transmission & distribution (T&D), dispatch, outage management, or crew deployment environments is strongly preferred.
Entry-level candidates with 0–1 year of directly related experience may be considered if they demonstrate strong Excel proficiency, data accuracy skills, and exposure to utility or technical operational environments.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data entry, sorting, filtering, and basic formulas.
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
Ability to follow structured procedures and maintain consistent data standards.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, operational support environment.
Required Core Skills & Competencies
Experience performing high-volume data entry with a strong emphasis on accuracy.
Ability to perform data cleanup, corrections, and validation across multiple systems.
Understanding of data integrity principles and record maintenance.
Ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies or inconsistencies.
Experience maintaining accurate personnel, deployment, or operational records.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including: Data entry and formatting, Sorting and filtering, Basic formulas and functions & Spreadsheet organization
Ability to work within multiple software systems simultaneously.
Basic computer troubleshooting and system navigation skills.
Experience supporting daily operational workflows.
Ability to execute crew changes or scheduling updates in system environments.
Experience updating and maintaining deployment or scheduling records.
Coordination with internal teams to ensure accurate operational data.
