Role description
Job Title: Capacity Planner
Location: Onsite, Stafford, Texas (5 days a week)
About the Role
As a Capacity planner/Data Analyst, you will support end‑to‑end capacity forecasting for production sites. You will analyze incoming volume trends, ensure capacity alignment across multiple locations, and apply workflow‑specific adjustments for various clients with unique operational requirements. This role is highly collaborative and requires strong analytical skills, deep technical expertise, and the ability to translate data into actionable operational insights.
Responsibilities
• Develop, analyze, and maintain capacity forecasts across four U.S.-based production sites.
• Evaluate incoming volume patterns, identify operational impacts, and resource requirements.
• Partner with client teams to refine forecasting models based on workflow changes and onboarding needs.
• Incorporate data updates and change requests into capacity models with accuracy and speed.
• Collaborate closely with Data Science, Data Analytics, and Production Operations teams to improve modeling methodologies.
• Support long‑term capacity planning, including labor forecasting, equipment planning, and site‑level scalability modeling.
• Build and maintain dashboards, performance metrics, and KPIs that support business decision‑making and standard reporting structures.
Day‑to‑Day Requirements
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret large data sets.
• High proficiency in Python for data querying and analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data modeling.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI for visualization and reporting.
• Expertise in SQL, including:
• Extracting and manipulating data
• knowledge on Snowflake
• Writing complex, optimized queries
• Ability to independently query databases and troubleshoot data issues.
• Knowledge of capacity modeling, forecasting methodologies, or operations analytics (highly preferred).
