Location: 100% Remote (US)
Duration: 6+ Month Contract

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Epic Consultant to support a multi-phase data acquisition and integration initiative within a large healthcare environment. This role requires a technically strong consultant who can develop validated, reusable scripts, execute precise Epic data extractions, and support hospitals with complex or non-standard Epic configurations.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on Epic experience, strong SQL expertise, and the ability to translate clinical and operational requirements into reliable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and document data acquisition scripts based on detailed specifications
• Translate metric and timestamp requirements into Epic-compatible logic
• Execute and validate data extractions from Epic environments
• Review and assess hospital-specific Epic configurations (including Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles, and module variations)
• Update technical specifications as new facilities are onboarded
• Troubleshoot Epic data issues and recommend workflow or integration improvements
Required Qualifications
• 3–5+ years of hands-on Epic experience (clinical modules, reporting, or data models)
• Strong experience with Epic data extraction tools (Clarity, Caboodle, Chronicles preferred)
• Advanced SQL and scripting expertise
• Experience with Epic build components (SmartSets, SmartForms, BPAs, Orders)
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows and EMR data structures
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
Preferred Qualifications
• Epic certifications (e.g., Orders, ClinDoc, Cadence, Prelude, Willow, Beacon)
• Experience supporting custom or multi-site Epic builds
• Background in healthcare data integration, ETL, or analytics
• Familiarity with Epic Bridges, interfaces, or reporting environments
• Advanced degree (MBA or related discipline) is a plus
