CHANNEL METADATA ANALYST

Location: Mettawa, Illinois Job Type: Contract Compensation Range: $55 - 65 per hour We are seeking a Channel Metadata Analyst to join our client's Digital Lab, a specialized unit within the biopharmaceutical space. This is a critical operational role where you will serve as the gatekeeper of data integrity for our digital ecosystem. You’ll sit at the precise intersection of marketing strategy and data science, ensuring that every digital interaction—from Email Rental programs to Preference Center workflows—is meticulously tagged, tracked, and optimized for maximum performance. In this role, you aren't just managing data; you are ensuring the accuracy of the insights that drive our business. You will oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of marketing metadata, acting as a technical consultant to ensure that operational programs run seamlessly. Responsibilities: Metadata & Data Operations: Lead daily operations for metadata tagging and dashboard management across complex brand programs, ensuring 100% accuracy and on-time execution. Technical Execution: Utilize Salesforce (CPMT) for metadata activities and perform data querying, analysis, and process automation using SQL. Dashboarding & Reporting: Design and maintain sophisticated operational reports and dashboards using Smartsheet, Workfront, and PowerBI. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders and agencies to align processes, uphold data standards, and onboard teams on new workflows. Process Optimization: Develop and maintain operational documentation (playbooks, RACIs, and guides) while driving automation to increase team efficiency. Specialized Workflows: Oversee and support the technical operations for Email Rental and Preference Center management. Problem Solving: Proactively troubleshoot data issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions with technical partners. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Systems, or equivalent professional experience. Technical Skills: • Hands-on experience with Smartsheet, PowerBI, and Salesforce. Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake) and Marketo is a strong plus. Mastery of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience: • Proven background in digital marketing operations, database/content management, or technical project management. Experience documenting user stories, process flows, and operational frameworks.
