Job Description
We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in the Charles River Investment Management System (CRIMS) and Charles River Performance Measurement (CRPM) modules. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business users and technology teams, driving the successful implementation, enhancement, and support of Charles River solutions within our investment management environment.
You’ll collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, compliance officers, and IT to ensure that system functionality aligns with business needs and operational goals.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for CRIMS (Investment Management) and CRPM (Performance Measurement) modules.
• Support configuration, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and workflows in CRIMS OR CRPM.
• Partner with technology teams to design and implement enhancements, interfaces, and data integration with upstream and downstream systems (e.g., OMS, PMS, risk, accounting).
• Conduct system and user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure successful migration to production environments.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for Charles River modules.
• Develop and maintain detailed process documentation, data mapping, and user training materials.
• Collaborate with Charles River Development (CRD) and internal stakeholders on version upgrades, patches, and optimization initiatives.
• Ensure all business and technology solutions comply with regulatory, risk, and data governance standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst within the investment management or asset management industry.
• Hands-on experience with Charles River IMS (CRIMS) and Charles River Performance (CRPM) modules.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back investment workflows — including portfolio management, trading, compliance, performance, and risk.
• Proven ability to document business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Experience with data analysis, SQL queries, and system integration testing.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred
• Experience with other investment systems (e.g., Aladdin, SimCorp, Bloomberg AIM, Eagle).
• Familiarity with FIX protocols, market data integration, or reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies and JIRA/Confluence tools.
