About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Clarity LIMS Developer to lead the design, configuration, customization, and integration of Illumina’s Clarity Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The ideal candidate will have experience in LIMS development, with significant expertise in Clarity LIMS, preferably in a regulated or high-throughput laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Experience in LIMS development and support.
Hands-on experience specifically with Illumina Clarity LIMS.
Strong programming/scripting experience (Python, JavaScript, Jython, XML).
Solid understanding of laboratory workflows, especially in NGS, molecular biology, or clinical diagnostics labs.
Experience with RESTful APIs and LIMS integration with laboratory instruments and informatics tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in regulated environments (CLIA/CAP/ISO/FDA).
Knowledge of DevOps tools and version control (e.g., Git, Jenkins).
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and computing environments.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
Prior experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
