Client Reporting Data Lead Location: London Role Type: 6 months contract Work Setup: Hybrid - 2 days in the office Who We Are Legal & General is a leading UK financial services company offering insurance, pensions, investments, and retirement solutions, with a focus on innovation and responsible investing. What You'll Do • Work with stakeholders and SMEs to capture business goals and define user requirements, using workshops to translate needs into user stories, features and epics. • Design end-to-end data services and solutions in partnership with business, technology and change teams, ensuring alignment with the enterprise data strategy. • Produce analysis artefacts such as data flows, service descriptions and mapping specifications to describe target data behaviour and integrations. • Investigate data quality and lineage issues, lead root-cause analysis with cross functional teams and recommend remediation actions. • Define and implement data controls, support user acceptance testing and validate that solutions meet requirements and compliance standards. • Estimate analysis effort, contribute to delivery planning and drive approach and planning within the aligned workstream alongside the Workstream Lead and Lead BA. • Maintain clear documentation and traceability of requirements, decisions and acceptance criteria to support delivery governance and handover. What You Bring • Experience working on data projects within the asset management sector. • Strong analytical ability with proven experience in requirements elicitation and service design. • Sound knowledge of financial products, data domains and data governance principles. • Collaborative team player with experience working across multi disciplinary teams. • Familiarity with Agile ways of working, including user story development. • Skilled at analysing complex data flows and mapping data movement across systems. • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. • Proactive and adaptable mindset, with a demonstrable passion for creating value from data.
