Role description
Client Strategy Analyst
About Quantiiv
Quantiiv is an AI-powered restaurant intelligence platform that helps multi-location restaurant brands make sense of their data. We unify fragmented data from POS systems, loyalty programs, delivery platforms, and operational tools into a single source of truth—powered by our AI assistant, ROGER, who delivers insights via plain-English email conversations.
Our clients include franchise brands with 50-200+ locations who are tired of dashboard fatigue and want answers, not more reports.
The Role
We're looking for a Client Strategy Analyst to join our fast-moving team. You'll be the strategic partner for our restaurant clients—someone who can sit across from an operator, understand what's really driving their business challenges, and translate data into decisions that move the needle.
This isn't a heads-down analyst role. You'll spend your days on client calls, building presentations, and shaping the narrative around what the data means—not just what it says. You'll use our platform and AI tools to pull insights, but your real value is knowing which questions to ask and how to deliver recommendations that operators actually act on.
What You'll Do
Own client relationships: Run strategy sessions, QBRs, and ad-hoc check-ins with restaurant operators and leadership teams
Translate data into story: Build compelling presentations that connect analytics to business outcomes—menu optimization, labor efficiency, marketing ROI, and growth strategy
Ask the right questions: Dig into what's actually keeping operators up at night, then scope the analysis that answers it
Deliver strategic recommendations: Go beyond "here's what happened" to "here's what you should do about it"
Shape our analytical frameworks: Help define what "excellent" looks like for restaurant intelligence—what metrics matter, what benchmarks to use, how to structure insights for action
Be the voice of the client internally: Feed learnings back to product and engineering so we build what operators actually need
What We're Looking For
Consulting or strategy background—you've delivered client-facing work where the output was a recommendation, not just a report
Restaurant or hospitality industry experience—you understand unit economics, comp store analysis, menu engineering, labor models, and how operators think
Exceptional communication skills—you can command a room, build a deck that tells a story, and make complex data accessible to non-technical audiences
Intellectual curiosity—you ask "why" more than "what" and dig until you understand root causes
Self-directed and entrepreneurial—we're a small team; you'll own client outcomes end-to-end
Comfort with data (but you don't need to write SQL)—you can interpret analytics, spot issues, and know when something doesn't pass the smell test
Nice to Have
Experience at a consulting firm (Big 4, boutique, or in-house strategy)
Background in franchise operations, multi-unit management, or restaurant finance
Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant tech stack
Experience with BI tools or data visualization (consumer, not builder)
Pay and hours for this role are flexible / open to negotiation and will depend on finding the right candidate first. If you are interested and fit the qualifications, you are encouraged to apply - if there is a fit, we will find a way to make it work.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $2,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
Work Location: Remote
