Required Skills & Qualifications: • 10+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles. • Proven experience leading Teradata to Databricks migrations, preferably in enterprise-scale projects. • Expert-level knowledge of Databricks, including SQL, Delta Lake, and performance tuning. • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake (Gen2), Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Unity Catalog. • Strong proficiency in data modeling (3NF, star, snowflake schemas) and functional data modeling. • Deep understanding of data governance, metadata management, and access control in modern data platforms. • Experience working in the Supply Chain and Distribution domain with understanding of key business metrics and data flows. • Strong communication skills – capable of engaging with business users, architects, and data scientists alike. • Experience in delivering cloud-based modern data platform solutions, including migration, optimization, and cost control strategies. Preferred Qualifications: • Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect). • Experience with tools like Power BI or Synapse Analytics. • Background in DevOps for data platforms (CI/CD for data pipelines, Infrastructure as Code). • Familiarity with MDM, data quality tools, and data cataloging frameworks.
