REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 10 years INTERVIEWS: Webcam Only Job Description: The client is seeking a Cloud Architect to assist with the continued build out of its multi cloud environment. This position will support client and partner agencies in the migration of systems, build out of secure environments, configuration of cloud services. Complete Description: The client is seeking a Cloud Architect to assist with the continued build out of its multi cloud environment. This position will support client and partner agencies in the migration of systems, build out of secure environments, configuration of vendor cloud services. The candidate must coordinate with client Security and DC-NET teams to support requests and changes for firewalls and network routing. The candidate will apply best practices for cloud architecture and design to provide scalable, flexible and sustainable cloud deployments. This includes automated deployments through CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies. Candidate must be able to work with vendors and independently to create architecture diagrams and complex multi cloud integrations with various DC systems. Architected designs must be monitorable and be cost effective solutions and deployments. Responsibilities: Demonstrates expertise in conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty. Identifies improvements to project standards to achieve high quality services/products. Identifies best practices and standards for the use of the product. Delivers support and design for industry specific technologies that require integration with systems or networks. Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts. Functions as a niche technical SME. Lead experience with technical expertise across large, complex implementations for systems. Skills: Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) including core services like compute, storage, networking, databases, and security. Required 10 Years Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture. Required 10 Years Proven track record of cloud migrations and modernization projects. Required 10 Years Experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures. Required 10 Years Demonstratable work experience with Hybrid converged datacenters and clouds. Required 10 Years Design and implementation of cloud solutions. Required 7 Years Cost optimization, Risk assessment and mitigation planning for cloud infrastructure. Required 7 Years Networking fundamentals (VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, firewalls). Required 5 Years Security and compliance frameworks (Zero Trust, encryption, IAM, compliance standards like FedRAMP for government). Required 5 Years Scripting and automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash). Required 5 Years Monitoring and observability tools (CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, Grafana). Required 5 Years CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Required 3 Years Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes). Required 3 Years Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates). Required 3 Years Cloud platform certifications (AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Professional Cloud Architect). Required 11-15 yrs. conveying technical and functional concepts for a specific technical specialty. Required 11-15 yrs. preparing complex technical documentation.
