Responsibilities :
β’ Deploy, configure, and manage OpenShift clusters, including version upgrades, patching, and scaling.
β’ Deploy, scale, and manage containerized applications on OpenShift using tools like the oc CLI and OpenShift Console.
β’ CI/CD Integration:
β’ Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments, often integrating with tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
β’ Monitoring & Performance Optimization:
β’ Configure and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana) for both Azure/GCP and OpenShift, ensuring high availability and system reliability.
β’ Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to the OpenShift platform and containerized applications.
β’ Security Implementation:
β’ Implement security best practices, user access control (RBAC), and security policies within the OpenShift environment.
β’ Develop and maintain IaC using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and configuration of GCP resources.
β’ Windows Server administration
β’ Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure applications are designed for scalability and adhere to best practices.
β’ Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and runbooks.
β’ Manage the lifecycle of control plane and worker nodes, including upgrades and certificate management.
