Role: Snr Cloud Engineer Location: Malvern, PA 3 days - T/W/Th Contract Length: 6 months Interview: Video JD: Briefly describe the duties and responsibilities Responsibilities • Designs, implements, and deploys cloud platforms to support and meet business needs. Identifies, recommends, and implements opportunities for improvement and performance issue solutions. • Provides advanced level technical engineering, architecture, design and ensures reliable operation of cloud production. Troubleshoots software systems on multiple cloud computing platforms and system integration into existing cloud computing platforms. Maintains comprehensive technical knowledge of software and infrastructure platforms. • Develops technical standards. Tests and evaluates IT vendor products. Reviews configuration parameters to optimize system performance and maximize operation uptime • Elevates code into the development, test, and cloud production environments on schedule. Provides follow up production support. Submits change control requests and documents. • Learns and understands client area business functions and requirements. Determines the appropriate technical tool to address the client's business needs. • Trains and mentors more junior staff on processes and releases. Troubleshoots and resolves complex issues elevated from staff. Provides guidance and consultation as required. Updates, writes, and maintains documentation for the department. • Administers system activities. Writes the technical portion of assigned deliverables. Performs systems analysis, including system requirements analysis and definition, and logical design. • Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Below is a list of skills that a good candidate possesses or is eager to learn in order to assimilate well with the team. • Senior Cloud Developer Experience w/AI coding assistants Core Knowledge of Storage units specifically in S3, EBS, EFS, FSx, EC2 (Nice to have: AWS Transfer Family, Storage Gateway and Data Sync experience) • Fundamental Knowledge of AWS, with specific knowledge of AWS Lambda using Python/Boto3, AWS CloudFormation, CloudWatch and CloudTrail • Knowledge of development suite specifically with Python • Familiarity with these AWS services: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager (esp VGI implementation of SecretsManager) • Knowledge of Route53, SNS/SQS, VPC is a plus • Good problem-solving skills and persistence in analyzing problems • Self-motivation and a willingness to learn • Intermediate knowledge with BitBucket / Github • Ability to communicate with clients regarding technical issues • Specific knowledge of JSON and YAML Thanks, and regards Bhaskar Negi Senior Technical Recruiter Phone- +1 Email: - Website: -
