Experience:
β’ Bachelorβs degree or higher in a technology related field (e.g. Engineering, Computer Science, etc.)
β’ 5+ years of software engineering experience

β’ Full-stack development experience across distributed applications and services.
β’ Ability to apply design patterns and object-orientation to solutions.
β’ Hands-on experience with containers and container orchestration.
β’ Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, Ansible, Terraform, ARM, etc).
β’ Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts/ecosystem and deploying applications into EKS.
β’ Understanding of versioning and release practices (SCM), code collaboration practices (Git)
β’ Proficiency with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
β’ Experience executing the Software Development Lifecycle in an agile environment.
β’ Experience in defining and implementing a comprehensive cloud reliability and observability strategy, ensuring that Fidelityβs cloud systems are always available when our customers need them.
β’ Certifications preferred: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Developer, or Kubernetes Application Developer.
Technical Competencies:
1. Strong understanding of Kubernetes concepts/ecosystem and deploying applications into EKS.
1. Demonstrated experience with building Flask/FastAPI based REST APIs and applying design patterns to solutions.
1. Proficient in object-oriented Python
1. Experience managing systems using infrastructure as code tools (CloudFormation, OpenTofu, ARM, Ansible β¦).
