Cloud Engineer

Title: Azure Cloud Engineer (DevOps Focus) Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Experience: 6+ years Compensation: 75HR or 150k + 8% bonus Type: Full-Time / Contract to Hire Description: We’re looking for an Azure Cloud Engineer who enjoys building reliable, scalable, and secure cloud environments. You’ll be the go-to person for Azure infrastructure, automation, and CI/CD — helping a growing tech team streamline deployments, improve system performance, and modernize from the ground up. Responsibilities: • Build, automate, and manage Azure environments using Terraform or Bicep • Support and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins) • Deploy and maintain core Azure services (App Service, AKS, Azure SQL, Functions, VNets, Key Vault) • Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights • Improve reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency across production environments • Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure smooth, secure, and scalable releases Requirements: • 6+ years in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering • 3+ years of hands-on Microsoft Azure experience • Strong experience with Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates • Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS) • Solid understanding of Linux, PowerShell, and scripting (Python/Bash a plus) • Familiarity with Azure networking, AAD, and cloud security best practices
