Cloud Engineer

Job Title: Cloud Engineer Location: Memphis, TN Length: 6-12 months + contract Work Authorization: Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S. We are hiring a Lead Data Platform Engineer to help our organization’s transition of new and existing big data processes to the public cloud. The lead cloud engineer will be a key role that will be responsible for performing day-to-day operations on the cloud solutions architecture team, building automation processes, supporting operational functions, and engaging with teams using cloud technologies focusing on deployments in the Public Cloud environment. This engineer will be responsible for building, testing, and refining cloud processes to meet business needs. They will lead and participate on a team of individuals focused on cloud data initiatives and will mentor and provide guidance to team members through coaching, collaboration, and training. What are we looking for? The success in this role will demonstrate itself through the following attributes and skills: • Industry experience and knowledge of AWS Components, open-source Cloud Provisioning tools, Big Data tools and practices, and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment processes • Industry Experience configuring and tuning Informatica • Experience interacting with public cloud environments running both production and non-production workloads • Experience leading people both directly and reporting to an individual • An individual who has experience leading large-scale projects and solving complex business problems • Ability to build and execute items on a multi-year roadmap To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications: • 5-7 Years supporting applications in a production environment • 2 or more Years of open-source cloud provisioning tools in production cloud environments (Terraform/Ansible) • 2 or more years of AWS Experience with multi account topology and the following components (RDS, RedShift, IAM, S3, EMR) • 2 or more years of scripting and deployment experience in production environments for the purpose of improving efficiency and automation (bash, python, CI/CD pipeline) • 2 or more years of industry experience with big data applications deployed in public cloud (Informatica, AWS EMR, Spark, Datalake, CI/CD pipeline) It would be helpful in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions: • Bachelor’s Degree, or associate degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience • Relevant public cloud certifications • Relevant certifications for open-source tools or scripting languages About INSPYR Solutions Technology is our focus and quality is our commitment.
