Akkodis is seeking a β βCloud Engineerβ for a Contract position with a client located Remote.
Pay Range: $50-$52/hr. (The rate/salary may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.).
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer with a strong background in cloud networking, routing, and infrastructure management. As part of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our cloud network architecture on AWS. You should have a deep understanding of VPC, subnetting, VPN, and direct connect configurations. Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code is essential to automate network deployments and ensure scalability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
β’ Design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud network infrastructure.
β’ Implement and manage VPCs, subnets, route tables, and network access control lists (ACLs).
β’ Configure VPNs, direct connect, and transit gateway for secure and efficient communication.
β’ Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate network infrastructure with application deployment pipelines.
β’ Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues across cloud environments.
Requirements:
β’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
β’ Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role with a focus on networking.
β’ Solid understanding of AWS services and networking components (VPC, Route 53, ELB, etc.).
β’ Proficiency in Terraform or other infrastructure as code tools.
β’ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
β’ AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (preferred).
