β’ Overview:
Federal Contract Winner is seeking a 1 yr Contract Zscaler Resident Engineer supporting the U.S. Secret Service in Washington, DC. The business Objective will be to strengthen its Information Technology Cyber Security Program (ITCSP). The objective is to safeguard USSS systems and information by ensuring its Zscaler cloud security platform (ZIA, ZPA, Zero Trust) is secure, resilient, and compliant with federal requirements. Will be responsible for supporting & optimizing Zscaler design and infrastructure (availability, efficiency, security).
Desired Skills and Experience:
A. Must have 5+ yrs deep hands-on Zscaler expertise who has strong Zero Trust architecture knowledge, and experience working in secure federal environments including :
β’ Develop and implement Zero Trust policies, rules, and configurations.
β’ Collaborate with USSS Cybersecurity teams; support ATO and FISMA documentation.
β’ Lead design reviews, planning sessions, and provide technical documentation.
β’ Provide knowledge transfer and training to USSS staff.
β’ Assist with Zscaler API integrations and troubleshooting.
B. Must have experience deploying, configuring, and managing a wide range of security technologies, including Zscaler services (ZIA, ZPA, ZDX), EDR, DLP, secure web gateway, email security, IDPS, firewall, SIEM, and identity protection tools; responsibilities include policy configuration, SAML integrations, monitoring, and user onboarding for Zscaler platforms
C. Should have prior experience interfacing government cybersecurity staff, producing documentation, and transferring knowledge.
D. Relevant certifications such as Zscaler Certified Administrator
